Let's Smash!
Here I will be talking about the ultimate party game, the best fighter, I think, ever and probably in terms of pure fun... the best game ever. (Wow this game holds a lot of titles) Of course, you know what I'm talking about... SMASH BROS!!!!!!

Favorite Games
So Smash Bros. was one of the first video games I ever played and, instantly it is somethings that hits ever single tone in terms of nostalgia and also is fresh and (feels) new and exciting and challenging up to this very day. Now you may be wondering which game in the series I'm talking about. The original? Brawl? 3DS? Well, when I said "one of the first games I ever played" I was referring to Melee and when I said new and exciting I was talking about Wii U. Now, Smash Wii U is actually the only game in the series I own, but I have played Melee, Brawl and Wii U. I play Melee and Brawl at my cousins' house every summer (but that might change now that they're in college...nooooooo!) Wii U is my favorite because it combines nostalgic music and gameplay with new and incredible graphics and characters. But Melee is very up there as well. But I just don't think it holds up to Wii U. I think Brawl was just a bit too chaotic and no, I haven't played Project M. I know, I know, bring on the hate, tell me I'm a fake fan.
Favorite characters
What you're looking at behind the text are my seven best characters in Smash. (Thanks to Garett for making this for me!) I think I have a pretty good range of characters I can get by with. I've got the speedy one with Lucina and the bruiser with Shulk. (And no, I don't just play with Shulk because Xenoblade Chronicles is my favorite game) I guess I don't really have a protector, but I usually make costamized versions of my favorite characters and make that a big priority. Like with Shulk, for example, I have a customized version where he is a protector/speedy. And then I just always choose Smash or Buster for my Monado Art. Samus, Link, Kirby, Picachu and Toon Link, I feel, are mostly pretty well rounded. But if I had to choose an order for my best characters or my mains, if you will, I would say:
7 - Picachu
6 - Kirby
5 - Lucina
4 - Samus
3 - Link
2 - Shulk
1 - Toon Link
:)
Final Smash
One reason that I like Wii U over Melee is final smashes. God, I love me some final smashes! My favorites are Shulk's chain attack, Samus's zero laser, both Kirby's cooking pot and mega sword, Link/Toon Link's Triforce smash, and Luigi's poltergeist sucker thing. I love the excitement that comes when a Smash Ball appears on the screen and suddenly the focus shifts from beating the crap out of each other to beating the crap of the floating rainbow energy ball. I love the Final Smashes so much and I always play with all items turned off except for the Smash Ball.
Guys, I love Super Smash Bros. I recently had a couple friends over and we played Smash Wii U for about three and a half hours. This game is endlessly playable and so easy to pick up and get into. It is hours upon hours of fun and I am so thankful for the amazing memories this game has given me.

Favorite Stages
My favorite stage is Smashville but since that can be considered boring, I'll say another one I love is Temple. That course is so nastolgic for me you wouldn't believe.
Q: How do you feel about huge stages? A: Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of most of the ones that are enormous. In the new Smash, Palutena's Temple is a big one that I don't mind so much. But the stage that really comes to mind when I think of really big stages that I don't like is The Great Cave Offensive. I hate that thing.
One thing I really like about the new Smash Bros. is that you can change the music that will play in a stage. I think that that's really cool and often, I will just spend a while listening to the music. (That just means listening to An Obstacle In Our Path from Xenoblade Chronicles over and over again. Although, I don't know why it's called An Obstacle In Our Path in Smash because in the Xenoblade Chronicles OST it's called One Who Get's In Our Way and I like that title a lot better).
