You instantly bring your hands to the rope tied around you and hold it in place. But no man’s hands could have held as much force as is required to keep the knot in place. In a single instant the knot comes undone and leaves you facing the drop down. But in the moment you had flung your hands out and grabbed hold of the rope. Now you are untied and dangling from the tip of your grip. The bag around your shoulder is now slipping and falling.
